2022 Camp Fee
The camp fee is $600, with activity parts included.
However, GiE awards full and partial scholarships based on financial need and actively recruits students from low socio-economic backgrounds and underrepresented minority groups.
Full scholarships are automatically granted if your family qualifies for one of the following programs**:
**While Girls in Engineering does not request documentation of a family’s financial need when an application is submitted, GiE reserves the right to request this documentation during the application review process.
Requesting financial assistance:
If your family cannot afford camp but does not qualify for one of the programs listed above, you may still be eligible for a partial or full scholarship. To be considered for a scholarship, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a scholarship application or to discuss your particular situation.
Do not submit financial statements (tax returns, etc.) unless requested to do so. Sensitive information should never be emailed to us, due to UC Berkeley’s data security policy.
Information for families that do not demonstrate financial need
Admissions decisions will be emailed to parents by April 15.
|When is tuition due?||The non-refundable tuition deposit ($100) is due by May 1.|
|When is the remaining tuition due?||The balance of the tuition ($200) is due by May 18.|
|Will I receive a refund if my child withdraws from camp?||The refund level is determined by when your child withdraws:

Camp is free for our high school volunteers.
